Students should write their name and school on the back of their ticket stub, and leave it at the Box Office during intermission. After May 2nd, points will be added up and prizes will be awarded. The Playhouse has several opportunities for discounted tickets to this production. Our Lucky 7 tickets allow students to attend a performance on opening weekend (February 19-21) for only $7 per student. Lucky 7 tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 553-0800. Students must show student ID at the Box Office window when picking up tickets. Group discounts are available for groups of 15 people or more throughout rest of the run. Groups will receive one complimentary ticket for every 20 tickets purchased. School groups will receive one complimentary adult ticket for every 10 student tickets purchased (excluding Lucky 7 Tickets.) Call Karli Newman at 553-4890 x147 to reserve your group.

Student Representative Board sponsors Ice Cream Social for "All Shook Up"

The inaugural social event of the 2009-10 Student Rep Board is not to be missed! Drama students from around the metro will have the opportunity to see the matinee production of All Shook Up and then attend an exclusive event just for them! Attendees will have a chance to meet cast members of the production, socialize with other drama students, take a backstage tour and sample "Soda Fountain Cuisine" at its finest. All this for only $15. Encourage students to make their reservations by calling Karli Newman at 553-4890 x 147 before seats are gone!

•Costume Fun- Learn a few tricks to costuming a show. See a special costume project -you won’t believe your eyes!
•Commericals- How do you get into commercial work? How is it different than stage work? Learn how this world is so different, and yet the same in our industry.
•Moving Light Magic- Take a look at moving lights, programming boards and the gadgets that make our stages glow with beauty. (Brought to us special by TMS; Theatrical Media Services)
Teacher tours of facility:
•Teachers have their own tour (separate from the students) of the Playhouse
•Learn more about this two way relationship between the Playhouse and your school

High Schoolers who attend any of the five shows listed below on Opening Weekend for only $7 will get a point for their schools. The 2009-10 Student Representative Board held its inaugural meeting on November 23rd. This motivated and creative group of students have provided valuable feedback regarding the OCP and its relationship to high schools, helped coordinate upcoming collaborative events and programs, shared upcoming events in their own programs and have met with Playhouse staff members to learn more about their careers here at the Playhouse. Our December staff guest was Susie Collins, Associate Director for the Playhouse. January's guest is Tim Schmad, President of the Playhouse.
